Use one CSV row for each Photoshop output
CSV mode is designed for catalogs and personalized products where every output is a specific combination. The first column identifies the PSD filename in your templates folder. Remaining columns map to layer names inside that PSD.
Text values populate matching text layers. Image filenames or paths populate matching smartobjects from the configured designs folder. Different rows can select different PSD templates.
Build a practical Photoshop CSV file
A shirt catalog might include template, sku, product_name, front_art, and back_art columns. A personalized wall print might include template, customer_name, quote, and artwork. Keep headers aligned with the Photoshop layer names you intend to control.

Test mappings before running the full spreadsheet
The mapping preview shows which CSV columns match text layers or smartobjects. Template validation helps find a misspelled header, missing layer, or incorrect PSD filename before hundreds of rows are processed.
Handle spreadsheet export details
The CSV parser is designed for common Excel and spreadsheet exports, including quoted values, commas inside quoted fields, and UTF-8 byte order marks. Image paths should still point to accessible local files, and column names should remain stable across revisions.
