Mockup Script’s official Gumroad listing describes a JSXBIN script for Photoshop. Its product page presents a folders, options, and export workflow for smartobject templates. Mockups Generator is a UXP panel with dedicated home, customization, watermark, queue, CSV, statistics, and license areas.
Both approaches keep rendering in Photoshop. The practical difference is how much workflow state and production planning you want inside the interface.
Compare public export and placement features
Mockup Script publicly lists JPEG, PNG, PSD, and WEBP export, custom naming, folder organization, alignment, and resizing. Mockups Generator currently exports WEBP, PNG, JPG, PSD, and PDF and includes fit, fill, conform, native size, alignment positions, and guide-based placement.
Use Mockups Generator for spreadsheet-controlled output
Mockups Generator’s CSV mode can select a different PSD per row and map columns to text layers or smartobjects. This is useful for personalized products, catalogs, multilingual artwork, and SKU-driven outputs. The Mockup Script public pages checked above do not describe an equivalent CSV mapping workflow.
